What Can you Sell?

 
Room to Spare will sell your items online:

 

• We like it to have an expected selling price of $50 or more

• Weighs less than 150 pounds, so it can be shipped

• Is legal to sell online (no counterfeits, hazardous material, stolen items, human organs, KKK outfits or 747 manuals)

• (I am not making this up! I have been asked to sell some of these things.)

• We sell cars, boats, and airplanes (We just handle those differently).​

• We reserve the right to refuse any item. (eg. We will not sell guns.)

 

What Sells Well?

 

• Antiques and Collectibles

• Vintage Toys 70s and Older do the Best

• Designer Clothing, Shoes and Accessories

• Electronics, (Cameras, Computers, Cell phones)

• Housewares and Dolls

• Jewelry and Watches

• Movie and Television Memorabilia

• Musical Instruments

• Sports Equipment and Memorabilia

• Vehicle Parts and Accessories

Here is how I want you to think about it…. The things that no one saved sell well. The things that everyone saved do not.  Its not the coins, stamps, or beanie babies. Its that weird thing in the bottom of your closet.

 

How long will it take to Sell my item?

 

Room to Spare will list your item for 60 - 90 days, and review the items progress periodically.  We may lower the price or alter the ad for better placement or viewing during that time.  

 

What if my item doesn’t sell during the Auction Period?

 

If your item doesn’t sell you can:

• Pick it up at our Store (If you leave it more than 10 days after we call you. You run the risk of having it donated for you)

• Donate it to a Charity

Can I set a Minimum Price for my Item to Sell?

 

Sure thing. You can provide us with a range of what you are willing to sell your item for.  However,  the very first thing we do it look up the items selling history as past performance is the best indicator of future expectations. Our expert staff will consult you on the best course of action.

 

What we won’t take:

 

• Any Hate Memorabilia

• Beanie Babies

• Guns 

• Playboy Magazines or any Pornography

• Wedding Dresses

• Weird Relatives or Children. (Sorry)
